WAM-X10+ Wi-Fi Bluetooth Analog and Digital Cell Phone Bug Detector

The WAM-X10+ detector is a portable multi-band radio frequency (RF) detector. It is designed to detect and record transmissions from all types of radio frequency devices, including cell phones, smartphones, vehicle trackers, Wi-Fi hotspots, GSM bugs, and covert 3G, 4G, and 5G wireless cameras.

Global Cellular Band Detection
A complete redesign from the ground up gives the WAM-X10+ global 5G cellular coverage. It can be used in any environment where the use of radio frequency or cellular devices is prohibited—such as private meeting rooms (to detect hidden devices), offices, exam rooms, hospitals, or prisons—or on board vehicles to locate the latest covert tracking devices. Satellite phones operating in the L-band can also be detected.

2.4, 5, and 6 GHz Wi-Fi detection
The WAM-X10+ also features dedicated detectors for the 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands, as well as the new 6GHz band, addressing the growing threat posed by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, “Store & Forward” systems and video equipment.

Broadband detection
The broadband detector (0-14 GHz) offers maximum coverage of all RF activity in the monitored area. The frequency of the detected signal can be simultaneously displayed (up to 6 GHz). The “Livescan” software graphically displays the signal trend in real time, making it easy to identify the type of signal. This feature is particularly useful when searching for devices that transmit in pulses or bursts, such as GPS trackers.

The WAM-X10+ can store up to 4,000 events, which can be viewed in list or graph format. For each detected signal (regardless of duration), the device records the date and time, duration, detected band, and signal strength. This information is valuable for identifying the type of device detected. For example, a sequence of short, regular pulses on a specific band may indicate the presence of a GSM/GPS tracker. Such signals are clearly visible in graphical mode as regularly spaced lines, reflecting the nature of the transmission. Additionally, analyzing call activity at specific times of day can help identify unauthorized use of phones in sensitive areas, such as prisons, corporate boardrooms, exam rooms, etc. The entire event log can be downloaded to a USB stick for archiving or transfer to a computer, where the data can be viewed and organized for analysis or reporting.

For truly global use, simply select the international region you operate in – the WAM-X10+ will automatically detect signals from all relevant cellular bands for that area. This means the WAM-X10+ is ready for the introduction of the latest 5G devices globally. Naturally, all existing 2G, 3G, and 4G bands are also covered. Satellite phones using the L-band (1.6 GHz) are also detected.

The WAM-X10+ offers real-time detection of 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and the new 6 GHz wireless band to identify threats from the latest Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices. These devices can, for example, record audio for long periods and then transmit it in short, regular pulses. The device also detects other devices that use these bands, such as wireless video systems. Complex algorithms analyze the detected signals to help identify their type (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or other 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, or 6 GHz signals). All activity can be viewed graphically for further analysis.

A powerful new high-gain RF front end provides detection ranges of up to 50 meters, depending on signal strength and environmental conditions. The WAM-X10+ comes with new swivel and adjustable antennas designed for optimal performance and flexibility.

The new keypad design makes operation simple and intuitive. All information is displayed on a color TFT screen, allowing the user to take real-time readings or view previously recorded events. Each band features a dedicated 20-segment signal strength indicator, allowing the precise source of the detected signal to be easily identified. An audible (“Beep”) mode is available for monitoring without having to look at the display, as well as a silent vibration mode, ideal for particularly sensitive environments.
