Wall microphone with high audio quality and built-in audio recorder.
Allows you to listen live with the included headphones and record audio from adjacent rooms separated by masonry walls (not suitable for plasterboard or thermally/acoustically insulated walls). Also suitable for listening through pillars and plumbing pipes.
Highly sensitive microphone – The microphone consists of a lightweight, machined metal body and a tip. The tip detects sounds propagating through walls, pillars, and pipes in the form of vibrations. An integrated circuit amplifies the captured sound signals and transmits them to the main unit (amplifier).
Audio limiter – The audio limiter protects your hearing from sudden bursts of high volume. It automatically reduces the volume when the amplifier generates a loud sound; the volume returns to normal within a second.
Audio filter – The audio filter isolates a specific frequency range from the sound picked up by the contact microphone. For example, when set to “HC” mode, the microphone attenuates high frequencies and boosts low frequencies.
Rechargeable battery – The wall microphone is equipped with a rechargeable battery. The 550 mAh battery provides 15 hours of battery life. Using the contact microphone function alone, the battery life reaches nearly 50 hours. Charging time is 2.5 hours.
Built-in recorder – Features a built-in recorder. The memory capacity is 4 GB, enough to store 70 hours of data. You can transfer the data to a PC by connecting the wall microphone via USB cable.
Microphone Extension Cable – Optional extension cables are available. Choose from 1.5, 3, 5, and 20 m (5, 10, 15, and 65 ft) lengths.
