Description

Selective Spectrum Detector – Detects wiretaps, hidden cameras, and GPS trackers, providing instant alerts. Its miniature size allows it to report suspicious transmissions even in silent mode, so no one will realize they’ve been detected.

The Selective RF Detector can be used to detect and locate, in the near field, a wide range of digital, analog and broadband surveillance devices.

Detects cell phones with GSM (2G), UMTS (3G), LTE (4G) standards, DECT cordless phones, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices, wireless video cameras, radio transmitters with analog modulation (AM, FM, PM), radio transmitters with digital modulation and continuous carrier (FSK, PSK, etc.), radio transmitters with wideband modulation up to 10 MHz bandwidth.

The selective RF detector is a low intermediate frequency (IF) superheterodyne receiver equipped with a frequency synthesizer. The scan and analysis cycle lasts 3-4 seconds. It can operate in various modes: guard, sweep, search, differential search, and digital signal monitoring.

Features

  • Signal detection in the presence of background interference
  • High scanning and analysis speed
  • Detection of digital, analog and wideband signals
  • Adaptation to background noise in monitoring mode
  • Differential search mode
  • Audio monitoring via the built-in speaker
  • Measuring signal frequency and power level
  • Alarm event log
  • Silent warning signal (vibration mode)
  • No need for external antennas
  • Interface languages - Czech, English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Spanish

Tracking Mode
Monitoring mode allows continuous automatic monitoring of detected analog and digital radio signals and triggers an alarm if a threatening radio signal is detected (a signal exceeding a preset threshold). This mode is used when the primary signal source has not yet been recorded. Information about alarm events is recorded in the alarm log. Monitoring mode allows background noise subtraction for analog signals, thus reducing the influence of existing background noise. Slow fluctuations in noise level are ignored thanks to the adaptation algorithm.

Sweep Mode
Scan mode is used to detect analog and digital radio signals of all types. This mode allows you to examine all detected signals, regardless of their level.

Search Mode
Search mode is used to detect and locate analog and digital transmitters. It is used when it is possible to move the RF detector around the room in search of a radio transmitter. In Search mode for analog signals, the signal strength is indicated both visually and acoustically: the higher the flash rate, the closer the transmitter is.

Differential Search Mode
Differential Search mode is used to detect and locate analog transmitters. It offers a particular advantage when the transmitter is in the same room. In this mode, the device determines the relative signal level, i.e., the difference from the reference spectrum acquired when the mode was started. The closer you get to the radio signal source in the room, the higher the signal level becomes compared to any external transmitters. The RF detector reacts selectively to level changes, allowing you to locate the radio transmitter more quickly. Differential Search mode uses both light and sound indicators to indicate the relative signal level.

Digital Signal Monitoring
Digital signal monitoring is designed to detect mobile phone signals (GSM 2G, UMTS/3G, LTE/4G), cordless phones (DECT standard), Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. While monitoring digital signals, the display shows a list of all detected digital signals and their corresponding strength levels.

Audio Monitoring
Audio monitoring is available only for analog signals in Scan, Search, and Differential Search modes, via the built-in speaker. This feature makes it easier to identify the signal and allows you to take advantage of acoustic feedback.

Alarm Event Log
The alarm event log stores information about threat signals detected during monitoring mode. The maximum capacity is 200 entries. If multiple threat signals are detected, the log stores all of them. The display shows the time of detection and signal termination, as well as the type and maximum signal level.
