Description
The ORION 2.4 HX Non-Linear Junction Detector (NLJD) detects semiconductor electronic components in walls, floors, ceilings, fixtures, furniture, containers, or other surfaces. The ORION 2.4 HX NLJD is designed to detect and locate hidden cameras, microphones, and other electronic devices, regardless of whether the surveillance device emits radiation, is wired, or is turned on or off.
The 2400 MHz wavelength is effective at detecting modern surface-mount electronic circuit boards (PCBs) in typical office environments.
Multiple alarm modes are available with a display mounted on the exposed antenna that allows users to view the target and the display simultaneously.
The lightweight design – less than 1.4 [kg] – and the integrated telescopic rod allow for quick and convenient use.

Digitally modulated transmit signal; correlated response for second and third harmonics; adjustable DSP (Digital Signal Processing) gain; histogram graph for displaying harmonic response and power adjustment; spectrum display – second and third harmonic spectrum graphs with various display options.
Touchscreen – displays the entire RF spectrum for the second or third harmonic transmission frequency ranges; 1.25 [MHz] bandwidth transmission signal to increase detection sensitivity; selection of alarm tones and tactile (vibration) alarm to alert when signal levels exceed threshold levels.
Visible antenna display and LED front light allow the operator to focus on the target and display simultaneously, even in dark areas; integrated telescopic tube; circularly polarized transmit and receive antenna – eliminates the risk of missing a threat due to incorrect antenna polarization.
